Hotel located on Cala Rossano, 5 min walk from the port, renovated, beautiful and clean rooms. I had a sea view room with a small balcony. Nice shaded outdoor space on the ground floor to relax. In the same structure on a terrace is the Marisqueria restaurant which offers excellent contemporary cuisine with sea and land products. Advised. I stayed the first days of July. Young and friendly staff.
Very bad experience, untrained staff are very distracted. We ordered two appetizers, two first courses, a side dish of escarole and a slice of meat. The meat was initially there, then it wasn't there, suddenly they show up at the table with the meat 🤦🏻♀️ and the appetizers, in the meantime other waitresses asked if we had ordered, cats that walk under your feet, anyway after a while ' who cleared the starters and asked if we wanted dessert but we had already been waiting for the first courses for over half an hour, here they are, hurray the first courses arrive... but look, only one arrives, they forgot to mark my first course 🤦 🏻♀️ so one eat is one look. I'm sorry but it was a disappointment.
We only had to stay 5 days then we asked if it was possible to stay a week because the place was beautiful. Mr. Tonino was really kind in accepting our request and was always available to help us. When we arrived it was raining and instead of making us wait at 2 pm for the room we went up much earlier, an indescribable and unexpected courtesy! The room was spacious (two adults and a child) and really well furnished and cared for. Excellent cleaning carried out by always kind girls. The structure is treated in detail and with a breathtaking view of the cove, you can easily walk to the center and all the services. Inside there is one of the best restaurants on the island with refined and tasty dishes. Excellent experience to be repeated
After having had a sudden unexpected problem with our accommodation (house), I turned to the owner of the hotel to ask for accommodation for two families. He went out of his way, and after a few phone calls between fellow hoteliers, within an hour we were welcomed and settled. He could have simply said that he wasn't available but no... he did everything he could not to leave us like this... friendliness, good deeds and availability always pay off. We will definitely return to him. Thanks again😊
